‘Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft’ to Conclude with Season 2, Arriving December 11 on Netflix
Netflix’s animated series Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft is officially set to end with its upcoming second season, which will premiere on the streaming service on December 11, 2025.
The news of the show’s conclusion comes after the announcement of a new live-action Tomb Raider series from Amazon’s Prime Video, starring Sophie Turner and written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The timing of the announcements has led some to believe that the two major streamers did not want to compete with each other.
The series stars Hayley Atwell as the voice of Lara Croft and picks up after the events of the 2018 video game, Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The final season is expected to follow Lara as she travels the globe to find magical African Orisha masks.
