Overview:
Kyle and his companions acquire surprising new information about demons.
Our Take:
I don’t think anyone was worried that Kyle and his friends would actually lose their duel, but fret not, because they all came out on top. It was a good thing that Liese and Urza fought Yuriga because she said that if the person who defeated her was male, she would have slept with them. That might be bad news for Kyle, I suppose, but other than Liese and Urza, he hasn’t shown a huge inclination towards building a harem.
What Kyle has shown an inclination towards is stopping his bleak future from coming to pass. We found out what he was using the mithril for, and it was a tiny bit disappointing. He had a giant chain made from the material and used it to trap Ganias. This whole fight felt like a letdown because not only did Kyle win by chaining Ganias up and throwing him in lava, but he didn’t learn any helpful information. The future demon king that Kyle is worried about has no presence in the demon kingdom currently. Ganias said that a demon with no horns and black wings would be an outcast and not a king. With a twelve-episode count, this felt like a waste of an episode.
