Following a recent episode that mocked Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, the creators of South Park have released an unaired end-credits scene that further satirizes her. The clip, which did not air on Comedy Central but is available on Paramount+, depicts a cartoon version of Noem entering a pet store and shooting the animals.
This scene is a continuation of the episode’s central joke, which references a story from Noem’s memoir where she admitted to shooting and killing her “untrainable” dog. The episode, which aired on August 6, also portrayed Noem as the head of ICE with a face that constantly melts off, a jab at her rumored plastic surgery.
In response to the episode, Noem called the satire “lazy” and “petty” in an interview, stating that the show’s creators were “making fun of women for how they look.” The new end-credits scene, which was posted on the official South Park X account, has since drawn a great deal of attention online.
