Overview:

Little Johnny’s past and his father’s ties to other heroes are revealed.

Our Take:

I’ve watched enough anime to realize that when a character is super upbeat and happy, more than likely, they have a sad past. So, I’m not exactly surprised that Little Johnny has a sad one, but it’s starting to get a little ehh. Nice and E-Soul started fairly upbeat. Nice was a corporate drone, which isn’t great, but then the girl he loved was killed, potentially by E-Soul. Don’t get me started on how sad E-Soul’s story got. I hope that Little Johnny doesn’t have only bad things happen to him.

I am starting to get a little worried about how this show is going to end. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still an amazing show and I’m loving it. In fact, I’m loving it so much that I hadn’t realized we are on the seventeenth episode! That means we only have seven episodes left, and there are quite a few plot threads still hanging. Mainly, was it E-Soul that killed Moon? After E-Soul’s arc, a lot of the other characters have intermingled, but we haven’t seen Nice or E-Soul since the seventh or eighth episode. I hope this show can nail the finale and give To Be Hero X a finale it deserves.
