Overview:
The scouting party returns to Rag Village only to learn it was devastated by an attack during their absence.
Our Take(Spoilers):
For a split second there I thought that the priest, Nada, might be a good guy. Sure he spied on Kai but it was because he was trying to figure out if he was the new god of these lands. He was trying to find out so that he could ask for Kai to help the people of his land. It seemed like Kai was willing to do that but when Nada asked him to help humans and humans only that was when Kai got upset. You may recall that the people he was helping out earlier weren’t exactly human.
When you tell someone “no” when it comes to something that important, you can’t expect them to not hold a grudge. So when Kai let his guard down around Nada I knew something bad was about to happen. In typical bad guy fashion he stabs Kai in the back. I always wonder when someone is intending to betray someone why they stab in a way that won’t kill them. I’m not sure what Nada’s plans are now but hopefully he won’t try to eat his godstone or anything because that could be… gross.
