I called that on
Overview:
Narufest was a huge success, but our vigilantes must decide whether it’s time for changes.
Our Take:
I had a feeling that this series would get a second season. As of today, it was announced that it would get a second season, coming out in 2026. I wouldn’t be surprised if this whole series gets adapted either. My Hero Academia is a huge franchise, and it managed to have a successful spin-off as well, so I don’t think we’ve seen the last of Koichi and gang for years to come.
Other than that exciting news, though, this episode was a bit on the boring side. It feels like Koichi and Pop are going to be on their own, and Knuckleduster is done with the group. Not only that, but I was hoping we would get more resolution with his daughter, Tamao.
I’ll put it this way: I’m glad we got a second season announcement because otherwise this episode would have been more of a disappointment. Nothing too major happened, and it was more of a debrief type of episode that was there to lead us from one arc to another, but it happened to be the last episode of the season.
Score: 6/10
