Overview:
Belle learns her past and the world’s, but can it give her the answers she’s been seeking?
Our Take:
Okay… I think I’m starting to understand, maybe? If I understand it correctly, the “planet” they’re currently on used to be our moon. It also seemed like there were animatrons like you find at a theme park that went on to become the animal like people that populate the moon? I’m still lost I think, what probably happened is the program, or god, whatever you want to call it used those animatrons as a template for the beast people that exist now. Which is why no one looks like Belle and it seems that humans are considered “gods” in a way.
I don’t think Adonis is coming back from this but he looked a lot better by the end of this episode. Belle even kissed him and the romantic in me is a little disappointed that he’s gone seemingly. I would put a spoiler warning for this episode but I honestly don’t know if I’m spoiling anything. I thought I was starting to figure this out but I might be as lost as I was. I guess that’s what happens when you have an item called “deus ex machina”.
