Overview (Spoilers Below): A long-sealed dungeon in Salmutaria is reawakening, and King Vincent wants Yuke to go there and check it out.

Our Take: After a good long break, Yuke and his Clover team are now set to tackle the third and final dungeon of the season.  This time, their skills will take them to the foreign country of Salmutaria, where its hidden dungeon has finally been awakened due to the effects of Glad Shi-im.  This secretive dungeon was teased by Prince Mastoma two episodes ago when Yuke rescued Rain, and now we’ll be able to see what makes this underground chamber tick.  But, before that, we have another episode that takes its time preparing for this adventure through its expositions.  This comes in the form of Yuke encountering the undercover King Vincent, who informs him that he’s supporting Mastoma’s decision to recruit outsiders in dealing with the dungeon.  Of course, this action could bring dire consequences to Salmutaria and its royal traditions, so the king himself asks the Clover team to undertake this special quest. Amid its drawn-out expositions teasing the show’s third and final arc, the episode offered a few things that could serve in Clover’s favor.  The first is that Yuke has been granted the nobility status of “Dungeon Count”, which is the highest rank for an adventurer to achieve.  The other is that the team will be assisted by Guild Master Benwood and Jamie, with the latter being pardoned from her punishment to help Yuke out with the mission.  The last time Benwood got in on the action was when he punched Simon in the face, so it should be interesting to see how he does on an actual battlefield against an invading group of bandits.  The episode also features a cute moment involving the female members pretending to be Yuke’s wives due to Salmutaria’s property system, a scenario previously mentioned in “Clover’s Back in Action.”  While not as dull as the previous episode, “King’s Order” delivered a tolerable start to the season’s final dungeon quest, which took quite a bit to get the plot going due to its exposition-driven nature.
