Overview:
Jinshi goes on a hunting trip and brings Maomao along. He seems ready to share his secret with her.
Our Take:
I’ve been waiting for this for so long. I think Jinshi will let Maomao in on his secret, and I’m excited. I have no clue if I’m right. I stopped reading the manga, but I think we have enough evidence to suggest Jinshi is in line for the throne. With how big a deal he made of Maomao being on top of him, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s also not a eunuch. He wanted to tell her something, and when she landed on top of him, she started to get up, but he held her down almost as if to say “notice please”.
There were a couple of things I didn’t understand. For example, Jinshi had to hide his identity. He seems well known, but he was wearing a mask the whole time, which led to him getting dehydrated because he refused to eat or drink. I also would like to know why there are people who want to kill him. If I’m right about him being in line for the throne, that’s probably it, but I want to know why.
