Overview:

Shin and Kizuki compete over Mizuho. Meanwhile, she found out the results of the Newcomers’ Manga Competition.

Our Take(Spoilers):

We finally got to see Kizuki in the future, so my theory of him being dead goes on in all the future scenes. It does seem like something bad happened because he seems a lot colder than he did in the past. As of now, that’s the only thing that’s giving me even a passing interest in the second season of this show. I want to see why Kizuki seems like a businessman who doesn’t care at all about Mizuho, or anything for that matter now. But with how slow the pacing has been, I’m not even sure we’ll get to anything interesting like that in season two.

Look, I’ll go into more detail in my season review, but this show hasn’t been enjoyable at all. Harem’s and reverse harem’s can be enjoyable when done right, but I have no interest in seeing who Mizuho ends up with. The underlying theme for this series is enjoying your adolescence, and I’m guessing Mizuho doesn’t do a great job of that and focuses on it in her adult life. Honestly, if we caught up with the modern day and stopped with the flashbacks, the story might be more interesting.
