Overview:
Mizuho goes out with Shugo and Togo and strongly contemplates her feelings for Kizuki.
Our Take:
So let’s get into this episode in segments. First, we’ll tackle Shugo and Togo, I’m still hoping that Togo is trying to get his brother to act on his feelings by acting like he’s also after Mizuho. But then he told Shiraishi that Shugo was “attached” to her, so perhaps I was wrong. Not only that, but then Shiraishi destroyed Shugo by saying that he isn’t attached to her, he’s using her as a way to avoid dealing with the girl he loves. Way to shit all over Shugo everyone, I’m not exactly rooting for him but that was rough.
This episode added more ammunition to my theory that Kizuki dies because of the virus. At one point he tells Mizuho that he will be her first and last boyfriend ever. In the future, Mizuho is looking at a picture of everyone and repeats the line that Kizuki said, and she seems pretty upset about him “lying” or something like that.
I was hoping that Shugo’s crush on the Shiraishi was real and we might see someone pursue someone other than Mizuho, but that doesn’t seem like it will be the case.
