Overview:
Tokiwa and the others go to the drag bar for the first time.
Our Take:
I should have read the premise for this show a lot more closely. If I had then I would have been more excited to watch this show. I love a good yaoi show but it feels like I’ve been seeing a lot of them lately. Whereas a show where it gives off yaoi vibes because the girls are cross-dressing is just refreshing enough to be fun to watch. Seeing them all navigate the different social aspects of this is fascinating.
Hagi hasn’t gotten a chance to spend any alone time with Kohaku even though Tokiwa and Asagi have gotten time with Suo and Fuji respectively. Those two couples seem to be hitting it off and have things in common, whereas Hagi doesn’t know a lot about Kohaku.
When he bumps into her randomly, he gets his chance though. It starts raining and he pulls her in from the sudden downpour. He even offers her his jacket, which means they have to see each other again for at least a little so that she can return his jacket. I like that it’s focused on individual couplings so far instead of the group.
