Overview:

Uka is happier than she ever dreamed. She has made new friends and experienced new miracles until an incident on a school trip occurs.

Our Take:

I love seeing characters grow and change. Ishimori still has a long way to go, but it was nice to see her have the courage to ask to be friends with someone or stand her ground on switching seats. Sure, it was a little awkward seeing her ask someone to be her friend when that person had thought they were friends all along, but hey, it’s the thought that counts.

One area where she didn’t stand her ground and should have was on the school trip. I’m not sure someone intentionally switched signs, but the path that was chosen for the group looked more dangerous than it should have. Ishimori thought about saying something but didn’t want to upset anyone or lead anyone to believe she knew better. In this case, I think she should have stood her ground, but it’s also relatable. There are a few things I feel like I know a lot about, but when it comes to explaining it to people if your self-confidence is low then you aren’t gonna be sure of yourself.
