Overview:

Uka struggles to open up to her class about her past. A friend of Kai’s undermines her confidence further.

Our Take:

The problem at the end of the last episode didn’t last very long. Everyone blamed Ishimori for being lost, although we learned later that it wasn’t her fault. So she ran off alone to try to fix the problem, and Miura ran off after her. With Miura’s help, Ishimori recognizes a landmark from the map and gets everyone back with no problem. But it turns out they got lost because someone was jealous Ishimori was getting close to Miura and switched the sign that led to them going the wrong way.

I love cutesy romance but unnecessary conflict tends to bother me a bit. Everyone was sharing their yearbooks from middle school so Ishimori saw Miura when he was younger and learned that he potentially dated the “hottest” girl in that school. Of course, Ishimura happens to run into that girl at the end of the episode. My issue with this is that if she was at this school the whole time why is she just now being introduced? Seems like she’s going to be an important character so it’s just a little weird to me. At the very least Ishimori has a good friend in Ayumi who’s ready to be a wing-woman for her after finding out she has a crush on Miura.
