Overview:
Mizuho is reluctant to visit Kizuki’s house for dinner while her dad is away. Meanwhile, Shin tells her that he can’t be friends.
Our Take:
Being a teenager is hard and accepting your feelings can be even harder. But that doesn’t mean you’re stupid and there’s no way that Mizuho didn’t understand what Shin was saying when he said that couldn’t be “just” friends anymore. Especially since he had just taken his shirt off in front of her, if that isn’t sexual tension then I don’t know what is. I suppose we have to put Mizuho up there with all the other dense protagonists out there. I’ve never experienced a friend group like this one in real life, but when I see one like this in anime I assume that all the guys are in love with the girl.
As if we didn’t have enough people vying for Mizuho’s affections now someone else has seemingly joined the harem. It seems like this individual is one of the guy’s brothers and has known Mizuho a long time. I hope I’m wrong and he’s going to be a foil to push the narrative forward and he’s not actually into her. Nothing against Mizuho, and this is my problem with most harems, but no one is so interesting that six people will fall in love with them at the same time.
