English Dub Review: Demon Lord 2099 “Akihabara’s Three Great Houses”

Overview: 

Veltol and the others visit Electric Town and the maid café Helheim, where Hizuki works. While experiencing the maid café’s unique services, Veltol asks Hizuki about the regalia—afterward, the four head out into Electric Town where they encounter a certain someone.

Our Take:

With the holidays and everything a lot of our anime has gotten delayed. I’m happy that the voice actors have gotten time with their families but I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t missed this show. When we last left the group they had gone to a maid cafe where it just so happens that Hizuki works. Hizuki wasn’t expecting to ever see Veltol again but when he came to her work there wasn’t much she could do.

I hesitate to call this a harem anime mainly because so far only Machina has shown feelings for Veltol. Not only that but Veltol said that he loved her as well but since when does a demon lord have to only have one wife? The reason I bring this up is because Veltol and Hizuki find themself in a unique situation as this episode comes to close. Everyone decides to stay over at Hizuki’s house and we cut to a scene with Hizuki and Veltol in a bath together. We’ll see what ends up happening next time.
