English Dub Review: Tower of God “Like a Flame in the Wind”

Overview:

The results of the individual tournament pit the two winning teams, Team Mad Dog and Team FUG, against each other in the Workshop Battle, while the losing teams advance to the training tournament. As their respective battles begin, Khun and Wangnan begin summoning their teammates.

Our Take:

I’m glad I don’t live in the world of Tower of God because it doesn’t seem like you can trust anyone. People you thought hated FUG turn against you because they work for FUG, or someone you grew up with and adore decides to kick you out of a bubble that’s keeping you safe, leaving you to die. You know… normal betrayer things.

I believe The biggest betrayal was what this show did to us viewers. I suppose I should count my blessings that Bam and Endorsi interacted, but I expected more than a quick conversation. It was nice to see her blush telling him that he owes her a date after all this is over. I’m a simple guy, if you fill the episode with Endorsi I’m probably going to love it, if she’s barely in it I doubt I will. But luckily there was so much going on in this episode it kept my attention so I’ll give them a pass this time.
