English Dub Review: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? “(Seidr) God and Girl”

Overview:

Bell can’t act the dense, indecisive fool—not after Syr poured her heart out to him. He must respond to her feelings honestly, but now the Freya Familia is trying to kill her.

Our Take(Spoilers):

The funniest part of this episode was Bell running into a member of the Freya familia and letting the audience know that one of his skills is essentially “cringe”. He says the most wild and off the cuff stuff it’s hilarious. But something told me that when he decided to get serious he would be one of the tougher guys Bell has faced. Later on we got to see him go all out against Ryu and I was right, I hope she’s okay because while her and the waitresses more than held their own, they also got messed up.

My only complaint is that I hope we get some sort of clarification on exactly who Syr is. At the end of the episode after she is rejected by Bell, Syr turns into Freya. Was Syr always Freya or did she take her place temporarily? I knew that Syr had to have a connection to Freya because they look so similar but also just because of their connection in mythology. But it’s starting to look like the Freya familia is going to war with the Hestia familia because Freya will stop at nothing to get Bell.
