Review: Krapopolis “National Lampoon’s The Odyssey!”

Overview

The family takes a vacation to Storgos for Shlub’s mother’s birthday.

Our Take

We really don’t even get to the birthday party for all that long, as the episode title suggest, this week’s episode of Krapopolis is largely the boat ride over which comes with it all sorts of shit in the way. During our journey, we come into contact with all sorts of crazy sea fare like mermaids,  Scylla, Charybdis, Lobster Man, Eel Man, and Whalefall.

When we finally get to Storgos we get a Minnie Driver-starring rendezvous with Shlub’s mother and we learn that the mermaid that Stu was hooking up with isn’t what the rumours about her are all about. Moreover, while Shlub’s reunion with the rest of the centaurs was fun, it was rather rushed and probably not as fun as the trip over.

Krapopolis takes a two week break after today so that should give you some time to go on Hulu and catch up on the series if you haven’t been, “National Lampoon’s The Odyssey” is probably in the mid of quality episodes that have aired this season thus far. I am enjoying the various shorts that the show has been ending the show with each week.
