Overview (Spoilers Below): After the battle for Crays Kingdom is over, Noor is busy cleaning away the debris. Amid the rubble, he finds something that makes his childhood days come back to him.
Our Take: The war has reached its end, but the season has one more element to explore before we bring the first chapter of Noor’s adventure to a close. The episode serves as an epilogue to the first season following the “intense” battle against the Deridas Empire, centering on Noor returning to his “normal” life and cleaning up with the community. It sounds pretty anticlimactic, I know, but it also explored more of Noor’s early days via a flashback, mainly his encounter with the Sovereign Six responsible for training him. While the Six were impressed by Noor’s incredible potential, they failed him due to his not unlocking the necessities of each class. For example, Sig failed Noor for only learning Parry despite the strength coming from that skill. Sein was also surprised at Noor for learning Low Heal without receiving the healers’ blessings. The season one finale offered more insight into Noor’s connection with the team of high-rank adventurers, which will likely play a role in a possible season two. Another element that’ll be crucial for the next season is that the Clays Kingdom will be preparing for another war with the Mithra Theocracy, who’s responsible for sending Deridas to invade the kingdom. It’s possible that the Mithra Theocracy may have a motive similar to Deridas’, meaning that King Clays will have to rely on Noor once more to protect the kingdom. That is if Noor actually realizes that he’s already a true adventurer. The show has enough tolerable moments for me to enjoy its concept, but I will say that regarding the execution of its plot, it doesn’t quite parry everything to make it special.
