Anime News: Crunchyroll’s Fate Decided ; Netflix Recruits A Vampire
Netflix may be on the prowl to find out what happened during the English dubbed leaks a few months ago, until then, they’ve announced a new premiere date for a debuting anime called Babanbabanban Vampire which is slated for premiere January 11th which is also supposed to be the same day as the premiere of Sakamoto Days.
In the upcoming series, Vampire Ranmaru Mori just wants to sample the blood of an 18-year-old virgin. But protecting the virginity of 15-year-old Rihito Tatsuno for three more years is proving tougher than anticipated
Sony is rumored to be buying up Kadokawa which would make for an interesting partner for Crunchyroll to get that much more in additional properties to play with including Sword Art Online and Mushoku Tensei but until then Crunchyroll has a bunch of surprises in story before the end of the year.
In a wild move ahead of the holiday weekend, Crunchyroll has posted the first English dubbed episode of Fate/Strange Fake Episode One that will stream for one week and one week only. The series was produced by A-1 Pictures and directed by Shun Enokido and Takahito Sakazume, with scripts written by Daisuke Ōhigashi, character designs by Yūkei Yamada, and music composed by Hiroyuki Sawano and is slated to premiere the English dub sometime next year on Crunchyroll focusing on a new battle happening over the Holy Grail.
But, if the week-long premiere isn’t long enough for you, fortunately, Crunchyroll has got you covered because starting on December 19th they will be streaming the entire trilogy of Fate//stay night [Heaven’s Feel] English dub adapted and all.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
