Overview:
Aqua confides in Akane, revealing his true motives. She vows to remain by his side, but this deepening bond intensifies Akane’s rivalry with Kana.
Our Take:
If you’re dating someone and you tell them you have a plan to kill someone and her response is “Cool, I’ll help” you only have two options. Marry her or run far away, there is no in-between. I love Akane as a character but I do like Kana more, even though she’s been acting a bit like a bully lately. Who looks up that their rival looked up to them when they were younger to throw it in their face in front of all their co-workers? A bully that’s who but I chalk it up to Kana being jealous because she’s in love with Aqua and she wishes he was with her instead.
My boy Aqua needs to find healthier coping mechanisms as well as a better way to get into character. Looking at a picture of your dead mother to be able to act emotionally probably is the healthiest thing. That’s one thing I love about this series though because it shows what method actors might go through to become their characters. The play begins the next episode and I could not be more hyped.
