Overview:

As jailbreakers run rampant in Japan, Star and Stripe flies from the U.S. to Japan to help and find Shigaraki waiting for her in the middle of her flight path.

Our Take:

Finally, we are out of recap hell! I can’t speak for everyone but I was getting tired of seeing nothing new while hearing about all the awesome stuff the sub-watchers were getting to watch. But the dark days are over and now we get new content!

I always love how anime portrays Americans because I can’t even be mad and say it’s wrong because it’s pretty spot-on. Star and Stripe was not asked to involve herself in a foreign war; boom, she’s there the next day. But political jokes aside, Star and Stripe is a cool character and her quirk is unique and powerful.

She has the power to change how anything behaves so long as she touches it, but she can only have two orders active at once. For example, in this episode, she touches the air and states that all the air around Shigaraki no longer has oxygen. While it feels like an OP quirk, only having two orders active at once makes it balanced. Not only that but she is always using one order to buff herself which makes sense. Say what you will about My Hero Academia the power system is well balanced.
