OVERVIEW (SPOILERS)Veldora and Diablo recap the last dozen or so episodes of Season 2.OUR TAKEDid you see That Time I Was Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2? Then this recap of it is useless to you. You’re already familiar with everything that has happened and don’t need it narrated or summarized back to you by two of the characters. Also, I am quite envious of you because even in my mad dash to watch all of both of the first two seasons (aside from the OVAs, movie, and recap episodes, obviously), I’m not even at the point that this recap is recapping. But yeah, you know all too well already that Rimiru is now a Demon Lord, has joined the Demon Lord Council, and renamed it to be the Octogram, even though OctoPussy was RIGHT THERE. Also that Veldora has a human form now that really does not fit his voice actor, at least in the english dub, and there’s this guy named Diablo who was summoned by Rimiru at some point and, like many of Rimiru’s allies, has now made his whole personality about being utterly and totally devoted to Rimiru in all his endeavors. But, as mentioned, I don’t need to explain any of this to you because you are already all caught up on this and have no use for a recap.Have you NOT seen That Time I Was Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2? Well, then this recap is STILL useless to you because it pretty much only covers the bare bones of the most recent events of that season. Again, if you’re like me and have only managed to make it through one third of that season, this recap is only going to throw a bunch of names and details at you that are simply not going to click. And if you haven’t seen ANY of this anime AT ALL, then it’s definitely not going to help because none of these names and objects and places are going to mean anything to you. Just watch the show like I did and it’ll all make at least some sort of sense! Eventually! Watch more than I have so far, since I haven’t finished Season 2 yet. And then maybe if you like all of that, MAYBE go back and watch the OVAs and movie. They’re not the most compelling stuff that anime has to offer but it’s still a fun time as long as you know who everyone is, which I very much did not despite having reviewed this series several times before now and having next to no knowledge of it! Anyway, next week begins the season proper.
