Overview (Spoilers Below):
Olto Zora’s cunning plan overwhelms the Corps as they face the power of mature dragons. However, Crimson’s impending offensive and Starlia’s resolve may be the key to victory.
Our Take:
The fight between the Corps and Olto Zora continues to be more challenging than anticipated now that Zora knows what Starlia is actually planning. With Starlia attempting to power up the transportation circle using the dragon’s magic, Olto Zora pulls out the big guns to gain the upper hand, including his 40 mature dragons and army of enslaved humans, and interfere with her strategy. It doesn’t help that these mature dragons take more than an army to defeat one of them, including one whose time manipulation is similar to Ultimatia’s.
Fortunately for the Corps, Crimson finally steps in to join the fight with his own bag of tricks. One of them is a white-flash bang, a sunlight grenade that burns the time-stopping dragon to ash. The other is his own army of brainwashed civilians ready to assist the Corps in gaining more magic for the teleportation circle. I guess we’re adding more fuel to the flames in disregarding human lives. It’s pretty typical for the crimson-haired witch. However, despite the efforts made by the Corps, Olto Zora is still one step ahead of them. As for Ragna, Shin, and Garm, they are still on Taratectra’s tail, but Ragna’s internal struggle between trusting others and surviving alone continuously grows as he feels another connection with his future self.
The latest episode of Ragna Crimson continues the thrilling encounter between the Argentum Corps and the dreadful dragons, as it represents the Corps members being in a tight spot due to Olto Zora’s mature dragons. Their only hope of survival is Ragna, whose unexpected connection may be their key to escaping the battle alive. However, amidst all the tension and drama, the episode offers a moment of levity involving Fu and his demonic right hand, which adds a touch of humor to the overall intensity of the episode.
