Watch: Royal Crackers Season Two Preview Features A Sorta Mr. Pickles Cameo

By John Schwarz

February 14, 2024

There is not a franchise I want back for either more episodes or a film to Adult Swim/MAX than the legendary Mr. Pickles. That said, Royal Crackers features a lot of the same weird vibes that I used to get from the aforementioned series that starred a murderous labrador and none weirder than this early preview of Royal Crackers season two that was posted by Adult Swim.

This one sees the Royal Crackers brand hire a new brand mascot, and if I didn’t know any better, I’d say this mascot looks a LOT like Mr. Pickles. Not only does he sport similar colors, but the mascot has a ripped dog body that likes to hump the air. Clearly, it’s not Mr. Pickles, but the similarities are very much there. You be the judge.

Royal Crackers returns with new episodes February 29th @ Midnight ET/PT, only on Adult Swim, then streaming the next day on MAX.

Synopsis:

In “Royal Crackers” Season Two, the storylines delve deeper into brothers Stebe (Ruiz) and Theo’s (Santino) daddy issues as they’re forced to confront their father’s dark past. Theo continues to grapple with the aftermath of his fall from stardom and attempts to navigate his way towards self-acceptance. Meanwhile, Deb (St. Clair) and Stebe’s highly sexually charged relationship undergoes significant challenges, putting their bond to the test. Matt (Flanagan) struggles to fit in at school and with his family. All the while the Royal Crackers company tries to not only maintain relevance, but also to become the most popular snack food in the whole frickin’ world.

Created by and starring Jason Ruiz, the half-hour comedy also stars Andrew Santino (“Dave,” “Bad Friends” podcast), Jessica St. Clair (“Veep,” “The Deep Dive” podcast), David Gborie (“Exploding Kittens,” “My Momma Told Me” podcast) and Maile Flanagan (“Naruto,” “Not Dead Yet”). Ruiz serves as executive producer along with Seth Cohen (“The Last Man on Earth,” “Hoops”) and Evan Mann (“Arrested Development”).

The series is produced by Titmouse.
