The wizards of Hollywood opted to have TWO major awards shows in one weekend. The Creative Arts Emmys which happened this last Saturday and Sunday, and the Golden Globes, which had IT’S ceremony on Sunday night as well. Fortunately, from an awards standpoint, you can’t be unhappy about the results for both of which you can see below.
That said, we would be re-missed if we didn’t lament the fact that the Golden Globes is suffering from not having an adult animation category given that The Boy And The Heron, while a winner, was only a sample of the great number of films that were released last year, ditto for the Emmys, the latter of which had me jumping for joy when The Simpsons won.
