However things don’t completely go according to plan with the reveal of who the true antagonist is, and it’s not Toralei… In this two-part storyline, much of the episode is spent on the protagonists bringing their A-game to the proceedings with them fighting against the major antagonist of the plot, and her motivations seem pretty damn narrow-minded with nearly every character playing a major role, even if some were relegated to background ones. Overall, this was quite a season finale! It not only changes the status quo and character dynamics with its ending but also leaves things open for more stories to tell. And with the recent announcement of a season two from showrunner Shae Fontana, who knows what direction this could take in the long run?
