OverviewClawdeen leads the monster representatives in the Blood Moon Eclipse ceremony in the hopes of bringing her mom back; Clawdeen, Draculaura, Frankie, and the rest of the boo crew must save the Monster Ball — and the world! Our Take In the culmination of everything that’s led up to this moment, Clawdeen with the help of her Monster-friends is now on a path to help Clawdeen free her mother who’s been imprisoned in a dimensional portal for decades. However things don’t completely go according to plan with the reveal of who the true antagonist is, and it’s not Toralei… In this two-part storyline, much of the episode is spent on the protagonists bringing their A-game to the proceedings with them fighting against the major antagonist of the plot, and her motivations seem pretty damn narrow-minded with nearly every character playing a major role, even if some were relegated to background ones. Overall, this was quite a season finale! It not only changes the status quo and character dynamics with its ending but also leaves things open for more stories to tell. And with the recent announcement of a season two from showrunner Shae Fontana, who knows what direction this could take in the long run?
