Slated to kick off on NBC starting January 1st, 2024 @ 8/7c is America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League. This upcoming AGT spin-off sees the judges take on more of a format akin to The Voice but with the show having encompassed over a dozen seasons the producers opted to pick the top 40 of all-time contestants to take part in the show from all over the world.
Unfortunately, puppeteers, despite being a fair representation for the series and having won multiple times in the franchise’s past competitions, are coming up short in this iteration with only two real puppeteers. The two coming down the pike, AGTS18 contestant Shadow Ace with his shadow puppetry act, and AGTS12 winner Darci Lynne with her now national ventriloquist act.
The winner of AGT: Fantasy League will take home a quarter of a million dollars with Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Terry Crews all returning as judges, with previous Judge Mel B also making her return.
