English Dub Review: Am I Actually the Strongest? “Starting at Rock Bottom After Reincarnation”

Our Take:

When an anime starts with a wolf turning into a sexy lady who asks to have sex with a baby you know you’re in for some weird shit, to be fair the baby is a reincarnated man and she thinks he’s the demon king but it turns out those memes I saw weren’t memes, just screenshots of the episode.

With a first episode, you never know how things can go. This could be a lot of fun or bad, not in between. If you know anything about me, you would know that I love isekai and there haven’t been too many I haven’t enjoyed. With this being based on a light novel and also being pretty popular my hopes are high. Having a sexy wolf lady to start things out isn’t a bad start but this does (at least right now) feel like a knockoff of Mushoku Tensei which is my favorite isekai.

We don’t know much about the magic system as of yet but “barrier” magic is interesting so far. The fact he can use it to talk as a baby, and move and do all sorts of other things is a bit odd but they need to make him overpowered somehow. As of now Am I Actually the Strongest? has my interest at the very least.
