Solar Opposites Gets It’s New “Korvo” For Upcoming Fourth Season

While the producers of Rick and Morty, are still figuring out how to replace Justin Roiland as the voice of the titular characters as a result of domestic allegations that have since been cleared, the producers of Solar Opposites have cast Dan Stevens as the new voice of Korvo for the upcoming fourth season of the series that is slated to premiere August 14th on Hulu with all eleven episodes dropping at once followed by a Valentine’s Day episode to come sometime in 2024. Season five of Solar Opposites is currently in production.

Stevens has had prior stints at series like Central Park, SuperMansion, and Love, Death + Robots, and I gotta say, I like the direction that the series took to explain the voice change from Justin to Stevens that can very much be reversed should the people at Disney give the same pass they gave Thomas Middleditch who had his own run-ins with cancel culture when in 2021 he was accused of sexual misconduct at a goth club.

Synopsis:

Solar Opposites centers around a team of four aliens who are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Dan Stevens) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love TV, junk food and fun stuff. “Solar Opposites” is executive produced by Mike McMahan and Josh Bycel. The series is produced by 20th Television Animation.
