Metallica has just dropped its excellent new album 72 Seasons via Blackened Records on Friday but they’ve been promoting it with singles for a few months now. This track called “Crown Of Barbed Wire” features an animated music video directed & animated by Corey Daigle .
Metallica just wrapped a week of playing live tracks from the album on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, interviews on The Howard Stern Show, and a full weekend takeover of SiriusXM’s Liquid Metal channel now called “Mandatory Metallica”. A promotional tour of North America and Europe, featuring Pantera, Five Finger Death Punch, Ice Nine Kills, Greta Van Fleet, Architects, Volbeat, and Mammoth WVH, titled the M72 World Tour, has been announced and you can get tour dates here.
