Overview:
Witness the clash between the pros and students of UA versus the Paranormal Liberation Front. Will Deku finally take down Shigaraki?
Our Take:
We need to enjoy this series while we can because I don’t know how many more seasons are left. With what’s remaining in the manga we got maybe a season and a half left. Maybe a little more if they stretch some things or do some filler or something. What I know for sure is we are in the endgame and I’m loving it. It’s probably because I never got to see a Shonen series end as it was airing so it’s been exciting for me.
All the voice talent is back and Justin Briner absolutely killed it this season. Deku has always been a crybaby but he’s usually overly optimistic as well but that all changes in the second cour of this season. We got to one of my favorite arcs the “Dark Deku” arc mainly because I love Deku’s mask and we really got to see it during this one. But Justin brought out a whole new side of Deku during that arc and it was really impressive, I’m glad he’s been getting more roles.
Studio Bones knows exactly how to animate this series. Sometimes they cut a few corners but when it counts they always go all out and that becomes more and more evident as we get deeper into this series. I can’t wait to see what they do for the seventh season.
At this point, you either love or hate My Hero Academia you know what you’re getting with it. But it has been one of my most enjoyable anime to watch. Obviously, if you’re thinking of getting into this series don’t start here but don’t worry you will love the whole journey. See you all next season!
