Overview:

Seiichi and Destra are locked in their final battle and Saria risks her life to save Seiichi when he’s at his weakest, but can Seiichi and Saria truly survive this battle?!

Our Take:

If this show had tried to take itself seriously with this final arc I might have liked it a lot less. I know that sounds like the opposite of how it should be but man I loved how this worked itself out. Destra thought that Seiichi would turn into some sort of Demon King I think but instead, he used the power of love to umm fix everything.

Seriously, I have no idea how things got fixed because one-second things look as bad as they can possibly get, then Seiichi breaks out into a song about love, and everything is fine. If it was any other anime I would have been angry and called it a cop-out. But it’s pretty normal for this anime it seems and I love it. At first, I thought this was the end of it all because of how neatly everything was wrapped up but the last look at some villainous figure makes me think there might be more. I hope there is a third season because this is a wild ride I can enjoy.
