Overview:

The Survivors rest briefly after the Stepping Man case and decide what they want to do with their lives.

Our Take:

This episode felt unnecessary to me, it was almost like it was ready to set up a second cour or something. I can recall the narrator saying “These adventurers will save the world but not yet” four times. I know it’s also in the title kind of but that was some of the most ridiculous sequel bait I’ve seen in a while. Anime is obsessed with twelve-episode seasons though so I guess this episode had to happen to reach the episode count.

There wasn’t much that happened in this episode either which was the annoying part. Everyone was depressed after the Stepping Man job for some reason. The most positive thing I can say was that we at least got to see more Agate before the season ended. I really did enjoy this series but I did not like how it ended. I highly doubt that we are going to get a second season anytime soon and I suppose this anime did its job. Guess I’m going to go buy the light novel now… You win again anime!
