Comedian Matt Friend has been teasing guest spots on both The Simpsons and Family Guy recently and now we can confirm at LEAST ONE episode the up and coming voice actor is going to appear in. An upcoming episode called “Gift of the White Guy” #NACX20 that will air sometime in 2024.
Not much else is known about the episode other than the fact that the other usual suspects will be featured in the episode including Arif Zahir, Alex Borstein, John Viener, Mike Henry, and others. Matt’s got a number of stand-up gigs coming to a city near you, check them out here.
As for the immediate future, Family Guy is on a bit of a hiatus until mid-late April with its season finale coming shortly after on May 7th.
Update 3/24: We have a little more information about Matt’s rising star to voice fandom. THR is reporting that Friend just signed a deal with UTA for representation, and that the two voices that he is doing for Family Guy will be both original characters whilst doing two impressions for The Simpsons guest spots.

Featuring the series’ milestone 400th episode, Season 21 will continue to provide a humorous take on current events, with big name guest voices, including Mario Lopez, Gerald McRaney, Jay Pharoah, Martha Plimpton and Casey Wilson, as well as Sam Elliott as the mayor of Quahog.
