Overview:
Ordered to obtain intel on the Empire’s hero, Lavi’s group of four find themselves in the Port City of Ordis. They’re there to infiltrate a party, but Lavi has other ideas, much to Talion’s chagrin.
Our Take:
While watching this I was personally freaking out because seeing some of a city I’ve only visited in the games animated was awesome. But I have to say I’m starting to think this show has a very niche target audience. When I try to remove myself from loving the games I find myself more disinterested than I would be.
The animation is okay, and the voice acting isn’t terrible. I was really interested in the story of this one but it seems like it will just be relying on past characters and references. This game series has already gotten an anime once before and is widely disliked by both anime fans and fans of the games. So, I hope this one can make a comeback in the next few episodes because right now it’s not looking good.
