Overview:
The second season of The Way of the Househusband sees Tatsu getting into even more hilarious situations.
Our Take:
I will get the negative stuff out of the way right now. If you read my review of the second part of the first season you might already have an idea of where I’m going. The animation is not great, you are basically watching a motion comic with this series. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if they didn’t advertise this as an “anime” I think there would be less negative feedback. Having said I’ll that, I had a lot of fun watching this and it made me laugh a lot.
Some of my favorites were Tatsu and a rival deciding to stage a fight between a stag beetle and a rhinoceros beetle to decide which was best. Or how Tatsu was enlisted by a mother to get her daughter to eat her vegetables. I don’t want to spoil a lot of them but trust me you will have a blast watching all the antics Tatsu gets up to.
If you watched the first season you know what to expect here. The animation is kind of annoying but there is still plenty of worth in watching this series. It’s funny and oftentimes heartwarming, and in this season we get more Miku which is honestly the best part. It’s not going to take up a whole lot of your time either. There are only five episodes (so far) and they are less than twenty minutes a piece so you can watch it in less than an hour if you wanted to. I recommend you do it because it is one of the more funny anime I have watched. The voice actors had a lot of fun with this one you can tell.
