Overview:
Somehow, the danger is past. Having saved some money, Jahy-sama decides to quit the pub and start her own business. Having taken no harm, the shopping district proceeds to put on the summer festival. Jahy-sama doesn’t know what these festivals are about, but between shrine carrying, and getting prizes, it seems to be an event worth participating in. Since Kokoro is also asking, Jahy-sama decides to be a member of the shrine-carrying team of kids.
Our Take:
That might be one of the quickest turnarounds for an idea ever. Just moments essentially after deciding to open her own restaurant, Jahy decided to not do that. Sure most of it was due to cost but it was still a laughably short amount of time to give up on something. So she decided to just let Druj handle everything and start a restaurant in “her honor”.
What I really do love about this series is the growth of Jahy. This isn’t a bad anime by any means but it’s just kind of there. The character growth however is some of the best around. Seeing her go from ruling by fear to starting to appreciate all the people she has in her life was quite sweet. Knowing that she has friends who truly care for her was quite the realization. I am not sure if this is the end of the manga or if there will be more but it was a solid show that I am excited to talk about in my season review.
