Adult Swim has released a new animated short entitled Hot Future that runs for 10 minutes and features a pretty stacked cast that features the likes of Matt Barats, Blair Socci, Johnny Pemberton, Crystal Chau and Demorge Brown.
One thousand years in the future, dance is violent and everything is hot. Johnny can’t find his girlfriend. When the beat drops, no one is safe. The short notes that this is “Chapter 1” so maybe more can be produced and is on the way?
Created by Mike Anderson & Ryan Dickie. Mike Anderson lives and works in Portland Oregon. He’s been collaborating with his co-director Ryan Dickie off and on for over a decade. Lauren Elly produced the dance choreography, Alex Plapinger is a producer who comes by way of FXX’s Drifters and Syfy’s Wild Life, and other producers include Brianna Sedor and Zac Swartout.
