English Dub Review: The Daily Life of the Immortal King “Perfect Match”

Overview: 

Wang Ling gets his sword for the competition. Not everyone is impressed and he looks for an opportunity to fake an illness to get out of it.

Our Take:

Bro this show is too much, I die laughing every week. They thought they were smooth with those dick jokes they made but trust me I caught it. You can call it a “sword” all you want but when a demon says “Big Sword Energy” I know what you mean and I am going to lose it. You should watch this show for hilarity if nothing else.

Wang Ling is such a hilarious character because he just wants to be lazy and left alone. Looks for any opportunity to try to get out of stuff. I hope he doesn’t though because I love seeing him put people in their place without even trying. Not only that but the fourth wall breaks in this show are something else. Some background music started playing and this triggered the demon he said “Not the background music!”. A+ work all around in this one.
