OverviewIzumi is out sick from school. Shikimori learns that Izumi asked Inuzuka to take notes for him, causing her to glare daggers at Inuzuka in envy. Yes, Shikimori sees Inuzuka as a rival. When the two of them go to Izumi’s house together to take the notes to him, Hachimitsu secretly follows them, and one little word that slips from Shikimori’s mouth leads her to deduce the reason for this perceived rivalry… On another day, Shikimori is at the mall with Nekozaki, where they run into Kamiya and invite her to hang out with them…Our TakeJealousy is something that comes naturally to Shikimori, huh. Hachimitsu’s sherlock impression was pretty good. It’s nice to see Shikimori and Kamiya get along though. That’s an impressive haul that they managed to secure though. Great teamwork between Shikimori and Kamiya in that basketball encounter though. And that last bit between Nekozaki and Kamiya rocked too, I hope we see them together more often. Also, Hachimitsu being played like a guitar in that flashback in combination with the scene of her riding the panda machine gave me a good laugh.Compared to the past few episodes, the proceedings have been nice, and this one especially so, with it building off of Shikimori’s encounter with Kamiya. It felt weird without Izumi, so I hope he gets better next week and gets back to his usual routine (minus the bad luck). With the way they are showing us so much about Kamiya and giving her so much character development & screentime, It kinda makes you wonder if Kamiya’s gonna confess one day after working out her feelings even knowing Izumi can’t reciprocate them? I can’t think of any other reason why she’s suddenly being given so much screentime.Overall, this anime’s dub felt like it went through a couple of delays. At the very least, it has not suffered from any decline in quality whatsoever. Everyone still properly sounds like themselves and animation-wise the character designs and scenery remain as colorful and vibrant as ever. Other than that, it was nice seeing the spotlight on other characters.
