Overview:
Yuichi and friends reach the end of Kokkuri-san, uncovering dimensions of trickery in the Tomodachi Game that they hadn’t imagined. When they move on to a second game, a socially destructive version of sugoroku, the group struggles to maintain balance as personal secrets are revealed and trust is stretched to its absolute limit.
Our Take:
This episode kind of sold me… so far. It could still drop off but honestly, if you want me interested just dangle a bit of romance in my face and I’m in. But what makes this interesting and a tiny bit unique is there isn’t a love triangle but a quadrangle!! Rectangle? There are four people involved is what I’m getting at. I feel kind of bad for Manabu because she seems to be the only one not involved but she might have her own dark side.
So far I am a big fan of this show. The voice acting is pretty great so far. David Matranga is a great choice for Yuichi and I was a bit concerned with the character after how the last episode ended. But I think Yuichi is ultimately a good dude, just goes about things in a kind of messed up way.
