8) Metalocalypse
It has been half a decade since we got any new episodes of Metalocalypse. Last week, Dethklok played in front of tens of thousands of fans at the Adult Swim Festival. Are you really going to try and tell me this thing doesn’t have staying power? As good as Rick and Morty is to go along with a slew of other excellent offerings from Adult Swim, Metalocalypse’s handling post the show’s cancellation is a black eye on the network that certainly marked the beginning of the end for network founder Mike Lazzo.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
