Bubble UK News: Pickle TV Has An All “South Park” Channel ; “Sticky” Set To Make TV Premiere

In what has to be seen as a loss for Comedy Central UK, South Park has its own channel on a brand-new TV streaming service from Orange called Pickle TV. 

Pickle TV is an ad-free streaming service that is available on mobile devices, TV, etc for just €4.99 a month which is a huge bargain for fans of the animated series that has 21 seasons, a movie, and a couple of games.

“South Park,” created by comic geniuses Trey Parker and Matt Stone, features the breathtakingly irreverent and ruthlessly funny misadventures of four foul-mouthed, troublemaking young boys in a small town nestled in the Colorado Rockies. “South Park” continues to surprise even its most devoted fans each and every week. Known for its unbelievably immediate and ruthless responses to world events, “South Park’s” new episodes bring up-to-the-minute news and pop culture icons (including Al Gore, J. Lo, Kanye West, Oprah, Sir Elton John, Tom Cruise, John Travolta, and P. Diddy) to the town of South Park for social commentary and good old-fashioned ridicule.
“South Park” launched on August 13, 1997 and is based on the animated short entitled, “The Spirit of Christmas.” Co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are Executive Producers, along with Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bill Hader, Bruce Howell and Vernon Chatman are Producers.
Sticky is playing on BBC 1 this Friday night.  The Ed Tracy-created animated sitcom starring Javone Prince, Tom Hardy, Charlotte Riley & Kayvan Novak will air @ 11:50pm on BBC One or you can just watch it now on the BBC streaming player. 

In the pilot episode, the internet has disappeared worldwide, and panic ensues. Students at a college located in London’s fictional borough of Shatford are at home watching Game of Zombies when the internet goes down. All forms of life depend on having Wi-Fi, so when their connection suddenly disappears, their world is thrown into chaos. Can the friends cope offline? Who would kidnap the web and why? These are questions only the gang can solve as they embark on a thrilling rescue mission to infiltrate the headquarters of the mysterious perpetrators of this web-based crime.
