Trailer Breakdown: Neo Yokio Season One
Neo Yokio is a series that is a postmodern collage of homages to classic anime, English literature and modern New York fashion and culture. In the show’s trailer, anime fans can already make call-outs to slice-of-life, mecha, and more of the subgenres that have helped Japanese animation both diversify and flourish.
Despite its silly premise, Neo Yokio features some hardcore production studios and storyboard artists for the series include Kazuhiro Furuhashi (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, Hunter x Hunter, Rurouni Kenshin) and Junji Nishimura (Ranma 1/2, Urusei Yatsura, Pro Golfer Saru) in collaboration with collaboration with Japanese anime studios Production IG and Studio Deen, along with MOI, the Seoul-based animation studio.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
