Toonami News: Tokyo Ghoul to Replace One Piece on March 25th
Can’t wait to see how watered down THIS show is gonna get.
In some news taken from a tweet from Toonami, One Piece will end its run later this month on March 17th and will be replaced with one of the most mean-spirited & overrated animes to ever exist… Tokyo Ghoul!

Based on the ongoing manga series by Sui Ishida, Tokyo Ghoul tells the story of a simple-minded college student named Ken Kaneki who in a freak accident becomes half-Ghoul and slowly discovers the ugliness & darkness of the human & ghoul worlds and by extension the darkness within himself.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
