Bubbleblabber vs Carl’s Stone Cold Pick of the NFL Week | Steelers Vs. Broncos (2015 Season, Divisional)

Last week Carl and I picked the Chiefs to win in the easiest game of the season to pick, but the Chiefs are out now which means we won’t be able to bet on them anymore. This week we take another AFC match up, the Steelers vs the Broncos and this time we’re going our separate ways. Check out Carl’s pick:

I see it differently.
Pittsburgh Steelers

The reason I don’t like Carl’s pick is less to do with how talented the Broncos are (which they are, especially on Defense), but with the injuries on the Steelers. Not only is the team’s leading receiver Antonio Brown out of the game, but Ben Roethlisberger is Questionable with a bum shoulder. Granted, I’m sure Ben plays, but he may struggle.

 

Denver Broncos

If this team dials up the blitzes that Wade Phillips is known for, DeMarcus Ware and Von Miller should crush Big Ben’s skull. Even if Peyton’s Human Growth Hormoned-repaired arm is strong enough to throw, he doesn’t have a crazy reliable rush game to depend on. It won’t be easy because Pittsburgh’s got heart, but I got Denver winning.
