Animated ”Godkiller” coming FAIRLY soon

Late last year we told you guys about an animated Godkiller trilogy coming from Black Mask Studios inspired by the comics series of the same name. Well, the producers were recently featured in an interview with the New York Times, and in it we got this update on when we can expect to see some results:

Before the International Comic Con in July in San Diego, the company will release part one of the animated version of “Godkiller.” An animated version of “Liberator” will follow.

Hear that, kids? We should expect to see an animated rendition of Godkiller before San Diego Comic Con on the Youtube page for Black Mask Studios. From the sounds of it, this could be a landmark start of an uprising of indie comics producers looking to take a stab in the business currently dominated by DC Comics (I think we can all agree that Marvel cartoons kinda suck right now).

If these timelines hold up, I expect to see some trailers maybe by next month, so we’ll keep a look out to see what, if anything, transpires between now and July.
