DVD Review: Regular Show: Rigby Pack
Cartoon Network is just getting a TAD lazier on the special features, nowadays. But, I suppose there is a market SOMEWHERE out there for a bunch of episodes on a disc with no special features. I just can’t fathom who? In terms of comparing to say purchasing all of these ‘Rigby’ episodes on Amazon, you could do worse than the almost $20 MSRP with 16 episodes. Also, it was advertised anyway, that show creator JG Quintel hand-selected all of these episodes, and if that’s the case, he did a damn good job. SOLID episodes such as ‘Bank Shot’, ‘Sandwich of Death’, and ‘ Trash Boat’ all make the cut and just about all of the episodes are delicious. Unfortunately, why are we dealing with a release with not ONE special feature? I would’ve LOVED something showcasing the origins of Rigby or how Bill Salyers came up with the voice or how he went from a rather dickhead type of a character in the early first season into the fluffy one-line shooter he is now.
Some special features could’ve done this well, but the price is hard to beat (especially if it’s on sale).
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
